Summer of Epicness

Well, I didn't post an entry last month. To make up for this fact, I'll be posting two entries over the course of the next day (or next hour or so, if I don't go to bed). Begin entry one.

The first part of June was fairly uneventful. I went to my friend's house for numerous campfires. There were also kittens involved. To put it simply--it gave me something to do at night. As such, I didn't get much sleep because I usually get up around 7am for work. This past week was the annual 4th of July celebration in town, so I also found myself there quite often.

I started working at Crosscutters again a few weeks ago. I'll be working for my dad again starting on Monday. I just took a two week vacation, so it's time to roll in the dough again.

Oh, yeah, vacation. I got back from California late Monday night. It was epic... so epic that I'll be talking about it in my next entry. I don't want this one to be too long.

Besides campfires and such, there have also been a lot of bike rides this summer. One in particular took place at night in the mountains. I've also been to Knoebel's (second time this year already) and have just generally had a good time.

And yet... I'm almost kind of excited to get back to RIT soon. I found out about a week ago where I'm living--as of now, I'm assigned to a floor in a fraternity building (although the floor I am assigned to is NOT part of the fraternity). Apparently, there is one room on every floor that has its own private bathroom. I did not know this last year. I know this now simply because I looked up the floor plans and found that I WAS ASSIGNED THAT ROOM. So that could be good news... no more sharing a bathroom with 60 other people.

Anyway, I'm dying to talk about California. So I shall do that now.
