Quarter 1 Updates

Where did the fall quarter go?! We're already in week 8... in three more weeks, I'll be completing finals and packing up to go home for Thanksgiving break. I really should be doing homework right now, but I thought I'd update this quick. I need to write more often.

Anyway, it appears I last updated during week two. So I'll start from there...

Week 2: The weekend after week two was eventful--I went with a couple of friends from my floor to the mall and the movies. We found the $2.25/ticket movie theater, so that was awesome. There was also a hypnotist at RIT that Saturday night.

Week 3: A fairly boring week, except for bowling on Saturday.

Week 4: Another normal week. I think this was the first week that I had tests--I had a practicum in programming and a test in data analysis. I did well in both. Over the weekend, I saw my best friend run in a college cross-country meet at Roberts Wesleyan College.

Week 5: We went out to eat at Pizza Hut! There were also other events that weekend, including the Orange & White hockey game and the AID2AIDS 5k run.

Week 6: BRICK CITY HOMECOMING WEEKEND!!! My parents came up to visit, and I made them buy me steak. I got to see Bill Nye in person, as well as see two comedians (including Jimmy Fallon). My mom went ice skating. We also watched most of the RIT club hockey game and watched epic failures (and epic wins) at the pumpkin chucking event. The three of us also witnessed glassblowing. I ran in the Brick City 5k that Sunday, and then my parents left. :-(

Week 7: I went home on Thursday night. It was so nice being home again. My aunt from Wisconsin and my aunt from Baltimore came to visit because it was my uncle's 50th birthday party on Saturday. I went to the Jersey Shore Homecoming football game on Friday and spent most of the time talking to old friends. Saturday was the party and also the cross-country league meet in the morning. I ran in the open run. Jones and I were late to the meet because we got lost for over an hour. That night, I went to Steve's shack and sat around the campfire. Sunday was a lazy day, and Monday of week 8 (yesterday) I came back to RIT.

Week 8: So far, uneventful. HOWEVER, it may snow tonight! That kind of sucks, but it's also very exciting. I have to register for winter classes at 6am tomorrow morning, and I think it may not go so well. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Also, this weekend is the RHA Haunted Office, of which I am participating. It is going to be exciting.

As for the rest of the quarter, I have hockey games, finals, and my birthday to look forward to. :-)
