The Book Thief -- Update

So, I just finished reading The Book Thief by Markus Zusak the other day. I promised I was going to write about it after I finished, so I will.

Quite honestly, I absolutely loved this book to Death! It is amazing. It's definitely one of my favorite books, along with Harry Potter, Chris Crutcher novels, and John Green novels.

Seriously, if you haven't read this book, you need to.

I'm not going to go into an in-depth review. You can find those elsewhere, and besides--I don't really want to give away too many spoilers.

If you have read it, however, you should check out this YouTube video. It sends chills down my spine every time I watch it:

Okay, so, in other news--the Jeff Dunham show last night was absolutely freaking hilarious! Aaaand, that's all for now. I guess.

Kitty!!!

Yeah, in the past two weeks we have acquired a new cat. I think it's the neighbor's cat, but they must not want it too badly because it was always outside. Considering the weather is below freezing right now, that's just not acceptable. It was also very skinny, but I can assure you that it is getting quite fat. All Smokey does is eat and sleep. :-) ...And run randomly from room to room.

I sent in my acceptance deposit to RIT the other week, and my mom and I completed the FAFSA this afternoon. I even turned in my housing request form, so we pretty much just have to wait now.

Not much else has been going on. Track is starting soon, and I'm going to see Jeff Dunham next Saturday at the Community Arts Center!

I went to the final home boys basketball game last night. I wish I had went to more games--the student section was particularly loud. We lost by 1 point.

Until next time!
